Adopted! Jake is a year old black/brownish pit mix. He is crate trained, sweet, gets along with other dogs. High energy, probably too high energy for small kids. He comes in when called and runs into his crate to get his treats. Jake never stops thumping his tail. He is quiet in his crate, clean, eats well and his temperament is fantastic!

Sophie is a 2-3 year old sweetheart. She is a laid-back girl who makes a great cuddle buddy! Since Sophie snorts when she is excited, we think this girl is a bulldog/pit mix. Meet Kimball, a curious and cuddly guy who makes some of the cutest noises we've ever heard. Kimball loves people and bonds quickly with anyone who gives him attention. Rebel is an 18 month old Dalmatian/American bulldog/Shepherd mix. He is fun loving and goofy in this puppy like playfulness. And he loves attention so much that he will follow you from room to room, but quietly, and sometimes without you even realizing he has done so. Until a couple months ago, Rebel had lived his entire life in a kennel. However, he has made the adjustment to living in a home faster then we imagined. He is already housebroken, has learned sit and shake, and enjoys sitting on a dog bed while chewing on a bully stick. Rebel loves to play fetch in the backyard (well, he is still working on the bringing it back part). He gets along with other dogs, but does have a tendency to chase cats. If you are looking for that one-of-a-kind dog, Rebel is your guy.

Claire is a sweet, playful pup looking for a foster or forever home. She has lots if energy and is looking for someone who can keep up with her! Claire was saved just hours before she was scheduled to be euthanized. She feels pretty lucky to be alive and needs someone to share her life with. This lovely two and a half year old girl was found in an abandoned house with her best friend Maxwell. Unfortunately Maxwell passed away from the severe neglect. Even though she was mistreated by humans, Maggie holds no grudges and absolutely loves all people. A very mellow girl, Maggie is happiest when she is laying on the couch with her head in a person's lap. Maggie gets along well with cats and small dogs. If you want to fall in love with a dog's soul, all you need to do is meet Maggie.

Give a warm welcome to lovely Marina! She is a beautiful little 40 lb. girl with a personality to match. Poor Marina was abandoned in an apartment building by her former owners after they moved. She can be selective about her canine friends, so she'd do best in a home with a submissive male, or as an only pet (she's not good with kitties). Marina LOVES to play ball, and now that the weather is getting nice, what better than to have a dog who will love to play fetch outside for hours? She is also housebroken.

Adopted! Heartbreaker alert right here! This gorgeous little girl goes by the name of Eloise, and boy, is she a looker! But don't let her shiny brindle coat and gold eyes fool you - Eloise is not just a pretty face, she's the total package! Eloise is a total people-schmoozer and is always looking for a belly rub. She is also good with other dogs and would do great in a home with another active dog who loves to play. She has a LOT of energy and would do best with older kids as she can be a big mouthy, but in a puppy-like way. Eloise is a mixy-mutt (we think hound/terrier) and is a sweet, sweet 35 lb bundle of love who would love to be adopted soon!

Adopted! Bear is an affectionate, playful Chow. He loves to relax at home on the couch, but makes a great walking buddy too! At 3 years old, he's past his puppy stages and is pretty laid back and easy going. He is house trained and great on the leash. Bear fits best in a home with no small children. Adopted! Ice is a 3-4 year old boy whose zest for life is shown in body wiggles, happy tail and a willingness to please. And I'm not sure which is cuter, his eye patch or his under bite? Not one to complain, Ice hops in the car for rides, sits and waits for his leash to be put on for a walk, and dashes into his crate for a meal or a Kong. Ice was surrendered by his owner to a kill shelter and when DBMB rescued him we told him, "Life will only be good from here on out." So Ice is looking for an owner who will take him to training, play fetch, go for long walks and at the end of the day, Ice wants someone to snuggle with. Ice is housebroken and good with cats and other dogs.

Adopted! Buerhle is a 1 year old, neutered APBT-mix male. He's an awesome cuddle bug and companion. When excited, Buehrle will jump up from the ground on all four and try to give you a kiss. Buehrle loves to be around people and is the first to cuddle up next to you on the couch. Buehrle is house-trained and gets along well with other dogs. Buehrle is a quick-learner and is eager to please! He has already mastered basic obedience tricks such as sit, down, stay, wait, and come. Adopted! More then just a pretty face- Stella is beautiful and smart too! She is looking for someone who likes to run and play just as much as she does, and will be ready to snuggle and show their love and the end of the day. Prepare to laugh a lot - Stella isn't for the faint-hearted, and will keep you on your toes! And don't be surprised, when you least expect it, when Stella steals your heart!

Adopted! George is the perfect gentlemen. This small one-year old pit bull mix is super affectionate with all people, which typically include gentle hugs and a moderate amount of face washing licks. George gets along great with dogs of all sizes (he has lived with dogs ranging in size from a Boston terrier to a Rottweiler.) George loves to run around the backyard with his foster siblings, but his true passion in life is to curl up next to someone on the couch.

Adopted! Remmy is excited to learn what the world has in store for her. She is the last of her brothers and sisters to find a home, but she isn't discouraged in the least. Remmy is full of energy and curiosity, but knows how to wind down when it's time for bed. Just a young girl who wants to be loved by a family of her own, she is an excellent listener and has gotten along great with her older foster siblings. If there's anything Remmy has learned through her tough battle with ringworm, it's that life IS worth fighting for. She knows that the price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it...and she's willing to give you her whole heart for just a piece of yours.

Adopted! Reeses Pieces didn't get his name for nothing...and he's just as sweet as he is handsome! This guy was saved from a rural animal control just in time. Reeses will bond to you like glue - follow you from room to room and never leave your side - so if you work from home, that would be a big plus! He's very quiet, and hasn't barked once so far. Reeses is also quite intelligent, and is about to add more commands into his repertoire as he's about to start attending obedience classes with his foster dad. He's good with other dogs, and would do well with a female, but no kitties please. He truly is a loyal, easy-going companion who would love a forever home of his own!

Adopted! This intelligent, energetic girl just loves attention and is very eager to please. Mia is tail-waggingly friendly with other dogs, and even cats! Mia has been with kids as young as 5 years old, and does great with them. Mia is a VERY affectionate (we're talking, face-washing-ly affectionate!) one-and-a-half year old Pit Bull/Plott Hound mix and would love to be a member of an active family who will take her to training to help her blossom into the perfect canine citizen she was born to be. Adopted! Puddin' is a 3 year old momma who did a lovely job of raising her puppies and now needs a home of her own. This precious short-and-compact Bulldog mix is not only beyond adorable, but has a personality to match. She LOVES people and gives sweet and gentle kisses. Puddin' is quite well-behaved, listens nicely and is eager to please. She is great with other dogs, but no cats please!
