Roy is a   male, approx 4 yrs old, very very emaciated.  These pictures do not even come close to showing how sad this guy looked when he first came to us.  He is a GREAT dogs.  It is hard to say what he is mixed with.  Just look at that cute face!  Roy tested positive for heartworm and recently went through the treatment.  He was placed on a "restrictive low exercise rest period" for a month following his treatment.  This period has now come to an end and he is feeling stronger everyday.  Ideally, a more calm and peaceful place to recover would have been more ideal for poor Roy but he has been quite the trooper.  He is just as sweet as can be and is putting weight on nicely.  LOVES to be around people.  He will stay by your side when you walk him and he will shower you with kisses.
