Adoption Information
All dogs are up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before adoption. Guardianship Application, home visit and reference checks are required. Minimum adoption fee is $150.

Rose is probably about two and a half or three years old. She's taller than she looks in her photo. She's about 80 pounds and was rescued from an animal control in southern IL four hours before euthanasia. She is FULL of energy and exhuberance and would be best with no small children. She is a GREAT snuggler and LOVES to curl up on bed at night., under the covers. She sleeps through the night and is housebroken. She is non destructive but definitely wants to be with her people and will whine for attention if not in the center of things :) She is not able to go to a home with cats (or doves :) and would be happiest as an only dog. She is VERY grateful to be alive and loooooves people and attention so much. I think she is very confused as to why she is homeless but is happy to not have to be used as a breeding machine anymore. Her favorite things are corn cobs and she will gnaw on them for hours :)))
